TWO men have appeared in court in connection with a spate of robberies, including one in Bury.
Paul James Smith, aged 24, of Devon Close, Brinnington, Stockport, and Dale Fitzpatrick, aged 26, of Seymour Avenue, Clayton, appeared before Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester on Friday.
The case was adjourned until Monday, April 18.
The pair were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery after a police investigation into robberies at jewellery shops in Bury, Rochdale and Stockport.
Peter Jackson Jewellers, in The Rock, was targeted in August last year when it is alleged a large number of Tag Heuer watches were stolen.
