We are pleased to report that our new Independent Learning Zone was officially opened on Friday 15th October by Professor Steve Furber who kindly made himself available to attend the grand opening and unveil the plaque. This is a fantastic cutting-edge, state of the art facility which will help learners develop their independent learning and thinking skills. The ILZ will be open until 5.00pm for learners to further their studies, complete homework and research topics. This is a great move forward for the school and will link in with the development of our Learning Platform which will enable learners to effectively take work home. The Learning Platform can take place any time, anywhere! Learners can study at home or in the ILZ and submit work to teachers directly on line. Learners will have access to research materials and up-to-date information relevant to the 21st century.
