ME and my hubbie go to Huntley Mount park for walks with our little dog.
My hubbie is 74, I am 71. The other day we were out with him and a pit bull came charging at us. It hurt my dog and I was sitting on the grass.
My dog jumped on my knee, the pit bull jumped on me and my little dog.
It is not right that we older people cannot go to the park and enjoy a walk with our dog.
I rang the police — they said there is nothing they can do because the owner was at the other end of the park.
Now there are more dogs coming and why should we stop going to the park because of them? The pit bulls should be on the lead.
