Model Charmaine Foster is hoping to become a hit on the “high street”.

The 24-year-old, of Cornall Street, Bury, is bidding to win a top modelling prize run by the magazine FHM.

Charmaine said she is hoping people vote for her in the FHM’s High Street Honeys contest, as winning it would be a “dream come true”.

She added: “I’m really pleased to have got to the last 100 in the FHM competition. The magazine said there were 13,000 entrants, so it’s a big compliment.

“The magazine came out on April 1 with the 100 finalists all featured, so there’s quite a bit of time to vote.

“I am really passionate about modelling and have worked hard for the last few years getting photo shoots in publications like the Daily Star, Zoo and Nuts.”

Tomorrow, Charmaine is also hoping to take a step into the singing arena by auditioning for the new series of ITV’s X Factor. “It’s quite manic. You get thousands of people queuing in Manchester for hours. I plan to get there at 3am with my duvet,” said Charmaine.

She added: “I have no idea what I am going to sing, but I have been there before singing a Whitney Houston song and got through to the second round, so I know what they expect. I am really looking forward to it.”
