CLLR Boden’s letter about Lord Ashcroft is just a case of the kettle calling the pot black. Labour were quite happy to take contributions from Lord Paul, another non dom.
They were quite happy to ennoble Lord Paul and give him the very high honour of membership of the Privy Council knowing he was a non dom.
More importantly locally, is the councillor happy that people in Bury have been paying parking charges at Fairfield and North Manchester when such charges have mostly been abolished in Wales and Scotland? Is he happy that drugs that extend life for cancer patients available in Scotland cannot be had here in Bury?
Is he happy that Labour’s one sided devolution policy has made the voters of Bury third class citizens in their own land?
