A DRINK-DRIVER who clocked a speed of up to 120mph when followed by police was given a suspended sentence.
Burnley Crown Court heard how Adam Wragg, aged 22, was more than twice the drink-drive limit.
Wragg gave a test which showed 76 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he finally stopped. The legal limit is 35mg.
The defendant, of Cherry Close, Bury, admitted dangerous driving on the A56 Accrington easterly by-pass last October, driving with excess alcohol, no licence and no insurance.
Judge Beverley Lunt gave him 52 weeks in jail, suspended for two years.
