Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery at an off-licence in Bury.
Three men armed with weapons went into the Springwater Off Licence on Radcliffe New Road, Bury, and attacked the shopkeeper at about 8.15pm on September 22.
Nothing was stolen.
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon in public and attempted robbery and will appear before Bury Magistrates' Court on Thursday 8 October 2009.
