LATE summer sunshine ensured Tottington and District Horticultural Society’s September show was a success, with entries up on last year.
Craft works, homemade cakes and jams, and glorious blooms were on display at Greenmount Old School. Society secretary Dorothy Heaton thanked exhibitors and judges, and Dorothy Maden, who presented the prizes. Mrs Heaton said: “It was the most colourful sight that met the visitors as they arrived.”
