SOLICITOR Nichola Ashworth has joined the expanding family law department at legal firm Butcher and Barlow’s Prestwich office in Bury New Road.
The 31-year-old has a wide range of family law experience, including private and public childcare cases, divorce, finance and domestic violence.
Nichola, who gained her law degree from Staffordshire University, said: “Butcher and Barlow has an excellent reputation for family law work and I was delighted when this opportunity arose.”
A solicitor for nine years, the mother-of-two joins Butcher and Barlow from another local firm, taking over from Helen Sadler who has left to spend more time with her young family.
Nichola will team up with solicitors Chris Hopkins and Abigail Smith. Together they offer family law, wills and probate, civil and commercial litigation, employment law and conveyancing.
Chris Hopkins, who heads the Prestwich office, said: “Nichola enjoys an excellent reputation as one of the leading family solicitors in the region and we believe that she will play a key role in the future growth of the firm.”
Butcher and Barlow has more than a century of experience and, as well as Prestwich, has offices in Bury, Leigh, Tyldesley, Runcorn, Northwich, Sandbach and Bramhall.
