A new independent firm of funeral directors has been opened in Radcliffe.
Timeless Funeral Services, in Dumers Lane, has been launched by business partners Richard Williams and Adrian Curran who have harnessed their experience within the industry.
Mr Williams acknowledges that the funeral services industry is a competitive market but is determined that Timeless will ultimately command a local, significant foothold.
“We’d been searching for a property for a long time and we happened to come across this one,” he added. “We feel we are in a good spot, not just for Radcliffe but for other areas too.”
Timeless, which is also involved in the marketing of funeral plans, has been set up in a building previously occupied by a printing firm.
Mr Curran said: “We have spent a five figure sum in setting up the business. I do front of house while Richard is involved in preparation work and caring for the deceased.”
Various dignitaries and representatives from the local clergy attended an open day and the building was blessed by the Dean of Prestwich and Radcliffe, Debbie Plummer.
