Fans attending Bury’s home match against Lincoln tomorrow may spot two familiar faces.
Radio presenters Lee Partridge and Richard Williams have set themselves a charity challenge - to watch a match at all 92 English Football League and Premier League grounds in just one season!
The gargantuan trip will cover 23,000 miles and, armed with a video camera and microphone, Lee and Rich will be targeting fans to record their unique view of their own club. These are then featured monthly in Talksport Magazine.
The duo are hoping plenty of Gigg Lane fans will be giving their opinions.
“We’ve had a streaker at Carlisle and a Burger seller sing an Abba Medley at Derby already this season! ” commented Rich.
“We’re looking to forward Bury, it’s a ground both of us have not been too before, a double duck break!”
Lee commented “With so much publicity around clubs and fans at the moment, we’re keen to show the positive side of football. The clubs and fans have been great along the way, and whilst plenty are quick to knock football or fans , its important to show both sides”
To follow Lee and Rich on their epic journey, watch their video diary every month in www.talksport.net/mag
You can also help them support the United Through Sport charity through the 92crew JustGiving fundraising page.
