May I be allowed to have a short reply to Mr Andrew Johnson's long winded letter, The Bury Times, Thursday, September 10. He being the head of commercial and licensing at Bury council.
Thank you for your reply to my letter Mr Johnson.
As expected really it is a non-reply as there is not one mention of any of the 12 points that I mentioned to your department and the so called licensing panel on 18/06/09 and 28/08/09 to Cllr R.C.A.Brown@bury.gov.uk the chair of the licensing panel, and the panel below: m.cassidy@bury.gov.uk, s.cohen@bury.gov.uk, s.costello@bury.gov.uk, y.creswell@bury.gov.uk, d.higgin@bury.gov.uk, t.holt@bury.gov.uk, a.k.matthews@bury.gov.uk, b.sullivan@bury.gov.uk, j.w.h.taylor@bury.gov.uk, s.d.wright@bury.gov.uk, y.s.wright@bury.gov.uk, r.l.baum@bury.gov.uk I can only say now that in reality the contempt for taxi drivers, hackney and private hire stands out a mile in this town with no regard for the public.
I thought the MP scandals were bad, this is a total disgrace from people who are supposed to represent us as always. Not really unusual in Bury.
