RADCLIFFE Riverside High School students won a haul of medals at this year’s disability Sports day.
A group of 11 students travelled to Sutton Sports Centre in St Helens to compete at the event, organised by the Rotary Club. They took part in a series of events, including swimming, boules, boccia, pistol shooting, archery, wheelchair racing, table tennis and weight lifting.
There were gold medals for Ashley Reid in the swimming, and Scott Henderson and Emily Riley in the wheelchair race.
Parisa Kordbacheh and Scott Henderson received silver medals after reaching the finals for table tennis and boules.
Radcliffe Riverside was presented with a trophy for the most determined group at the games.
Bronze medals for taking part were given to everyone on the team, which was sponsored by Radcliffe Rotary Club.
