HEAVY rain failed to dampen spirits at a bowls day raising money for a Radcliffe church.
Despite ending early because of the bad weather, the event at Allens Green raised £405.
It will be put towards the new building fund at St Mary and St Philip Neri RC Church, in Belgrave Street.
