TALENTED children from an Ainsworth-based dance school showed off their skills when they took part in a summer school.
More than 50 boys and girls spent four days rehearsing for a play at Park View Primary School in Prestwich. The summer school, run by Glenda Ann School of Dancing, taught the youngsters more than 20 songs from films, including The Wizard of Oz, Ghostbusters, Harry Potter and Moulin Rouge.
The annual course ended with a performance of the play, called I’ve Been To The Movies, at Radcliffe Civic Suite.
Glenda Ann Goodman said: “I was delighted with the show. It was very slick and everyone worked so hard. I was amazed that they put together such a good show after just a few days of rehearsals.”
The proceeds from ticket sales and a tuck shop will be donated to Children in Need.
