GRAPHIC design student Jason Groves is celebrating even before he has finished his graphic design degree.
For he has secured a full-time position as a designer with award-winning Bury design agency Fluid Creative.
The first on his course to secure a full time design role, the 21-year-old is also in the running for a national Young Creative Network (YCN), award having reached the final four.
Jason, from Ramsbottom, spent three months in 2008 with Fluid Creative of Bolton Street.
He impressed them so much that when they decided to expand, director Adam Hindle didn’t advertise.
He said: “It’s great to see young people like Jason taking the graphic design route for a career and we were really impressed with his level of creativity.
“After working with him last year, we are confident that he will be a great addition to the team.”
Optimistic about his chances of success in the YCN design competition, Jason said: “I’ve been working on the project for six months now and it’s been hard work but really rewarding too.”
