CHILDREN’S centre co-ordinators went back to the classroom to improve their skills.
The managers of six centres have achieved a leadership qualification at Lancaster University.
The National Professional Qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership course is designed for the leaders of children’s centres.
The successful students were: Rachel Buckler, of Woodbank with Elton Children’s Centre; Helen Ernst, of Butterstile Children’s Centre in Prestwich; Jill Williams, of Besses Children’s Centre, Whitefield; Joanne Dalton, of Daisyfield Children’s Centre, Bury; Helen Madden, of Stepping Stones Children’s Centre, Radcliffe; and Paula Cockcroft, of Ramsbottom Children’s Centre.
