BURY’S Fusilier Museum has changed its opening times after becoming a magnet for visitors.
Since the opening in late June, the Moss Street building has welcomed more than 4,500 visitors — with many people coming two or three times. Now, the museum has altered its opening times to 10am until 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
General manager, Mike Booth, explained: “This was in response to the number of visitors who wanted to get in earlier in the day to make the most of their visit.”
The Fusilier Museum is also open on Bank Holiday Monday between 10am and 4pm. Promotional leaflets are available from the museum and Tourist Information Centre in Moss Street.
