A FREE chance to learn a new skill and socialise over lunch is being offered by Bury libraries and adult learning service.
The borough’s over-50s are invited to attend several informal Lunch and Learn classes.
A series of taster sessions have been arranged: Stitching for Pleasure — held at Bury Adult Education Centre on Mondays, September 7, 14 and 21, from noon to 3pm l Continental Cooking — at Bury Adult Education Centre on Sep 7, 14 and 21, from 1pm to 3pm.
l French for beginners — at Tottington Library on Sep 7, 14 and 21, from 10am to 1pm.
l Painting — at Bury Adult Education Centre on Tuesdays, September 8, 15 and 22, from 10am to 1pm l Pottery — at Whitefield Library on Thursdays, September 17 and 24, from 10am to 1pm.
l Family history — at Whitefield Library on Sep 10, 17 and 24, from noon to 3pm.
l Greek for beginners — at Whitefield Library on Fridays, September 11, 18 and 25, from noon to 3pm.
