AT the meeting of Bury Support Group on Monday, August 3, we celebrated our sixth birthday with a buffet lunch, which was attended by over 50 of our members.
In the afternoon we all enjoyed entertainment provided by the Veterans Male Voice Choir. They sang songs from the shows, and lots of the songs of yesteryear, with which we could all join in. We finished our afternoon with birthday cake and a cup of tea. A lovely day enjoyed by all, and now we look forward to our seventh birthday.
Our next meeting will be on Monday, September 7, when we will be having a talk on Oral Hygiene.
We meet at the Bolton Road Methodist Church in Bury on the first Monday of the month, between 2pm and 4pm. All Parkinsons’s sufferers and their carers are welcome to join us. Just come along.
