A PUB was targeted in a petrol bomb attack.
The Dusty Miller in Crostons Road, Bury, was attacked at about 3.30am yesterday.
The landlord, who was sleeping upstairs, called police who attended the scene.
When officers arrived, they found a petrol bomb had been set on fire outside the pub at the front. They alerted firefighters who put out the fire. No one was injured and no damage was caused to the property.
A Greater Manchester Fire Service spokesman said: “It seems someone has broken the window and tried to throw a petrol bomb through but failed.”
Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 0161 872 5050.
