The Fusilier Museum is opening its doors to the public for a behind the scenes look at progress being made prior to its opening on June 27.
Mike Booth, the museum's general manager, said: "This is a chance to see the museum now that we have completed the building works but before we have completed all of the exhibitions.
"We will also be able to show areas that will not normally be open to the public."
The museum is opening as part of the European 'Museums at Night' event. The tour starts at 7pm on Friday, meeting at the entrance to the newly-opened Tourist Information Centre in Moss Street, Bury. Admission is free.
