A yellow weather warning has been issued to Bury as the borough braces for gusts of up to 50mph.
The Met Office has issued the warning to Bury, which will start at 3pm tomorrow (Thursday, December 5) and run until 6am on Friday (December 6).
The national weather service has said some disruption is possible due to "strong and gusty winds".
Residents are warned that Bury could possibly see winds of up to 40mph or 50mph,
The Met Office added: "Strong gusts will also be associated with heavy showers which move through at times."

According to the Met Office, residents should expect the following:
- Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely
- Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer
- Some short term loss of power and other services is possible
- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely
The warning is in place for the North West, Northern Ireland and parts of Yorkshire, the Midlands, the East of England and Scotland.
