An award-winning musical child prodigy will be performing in Bury this week.
Tiantian Gao, 10, started to play piano when she was aged four and won first prize at the Liszt International Youth Piano Competition in Shanghai, China, when she was five.
Since then she has continued to enjoy success at competitions internationally.
Her most recent awards include Platinum and Young Virtuoso Award at the fourth WPTA Singapore International Piano Competition, Platinum Award at Trinity International Music Competition, as well as the first prize at the VII. Danubia Talents International Music Competition and distinction at the 30th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth.
In June last year, Tiantian had her Carnegie Hall debut with New York Concerti Sinfonietta.
She successfully performed the first movement of Mozart's Concerto No.17 aged nine.

Now Tiantian studies piano with Professor Murray McLachlan.
In addition to the piano, she also enjoys playing the flute, drawing and swimming.
Tiantian will be performing in a lunchtime concert at Bury Parish Church on Friday at 12.30pm.
Tickets will cost £5 on the door and refreshments will be served from 11.15am.
