RHS Bridgewater has created just that in its RHS Glow for all ages to enjoy.
The beautiful gardens in Walkden have been lit up for Christmas, with a show which will delight visitors and a walk through the garden of ‘Jack Frost' will enchant.
For A Winter Story’,is a new musical collaboration written and narrated by gardener, broadcaster, and RHS Ambassador Alan Titchmarsh MBE, with music by renowned composer Debbie Wiseman OBE.
Stunning installations coupled with sound show creates a beautiful atmosphere which would soften the likes of The Grinch to Scrooge to get everyone in the festive spirit.
The Midnight Gardener's exciting new interactive light juggling show full of mind-blowing effects absolutely has the wow effect.
Toast marshmallows, enjoy hot chocolate and grab some of the food as you wander the huge gardens, enjoying the glittering archways, the animal installations and the beautifully created fairytale glens, the yew domes lit up like twinkly hedgehogs.

Other highlights include giant petunias that come to life at a touch, a sparkling star arch, festive tunes chosen by visitors as you weave your way through glittering fairy light Christmas trees.
There is a stunning sparkling, interactive waterfall of light created by award-winning art studio I Don’t Love You Anymore, originally commissioned by Light Up Lancaster and Lightpool Blackpool.
In recent years, lighting up parks and grounds of stately homes has become a popular Christmas tradition.
I have visited quite a few, RHS Glow uses the beauty of nature to create this most memorising of light shows.
To see at RHS Bridgewater so beautifully lit up at night really is magical and a Christmas treat for all the family away from the rush of shopping, although that said, the magic does continue inside the RHS Bridgewater shop where some beautiful and unusual gifts - those you will not find on the high street - can be can be bought.
