A village is gearing up for its Christmas collection.
Tottington Methodist Church and the Tottington Centre have joined forces for a Christmas collection of 'most needed items' to provide for those in need in the borough.
The collection will take place on Saturday, December 7, from 9.30am until 11.30am in the Tottington Centre car park.
People are being urged to donate tinned foods such as hot dogs, tuna, meatballs, ravioli, chilli, beans and sausage, meat, spaghetti, and tinned fruit.
Other items needed include biscuits, savoury rice, bottles of squash, instant noodles, pasta and sauce, and UHT milk.
Selection boxes are also needed by December 1.
These should be delivered to the Tottington Centre during the week of November 25 or to the Methodist Church on December 1 between 10am and 10.30am.
Christmas puddings and mince pies are not required this year.
