A Bury company has been named as one of the fastest growing firms in the UK.
Specscart, headquartered in Bury town centre, which is aiming to end the financial year by achieving a £5m turnover milestone, has been recognised as one of the most entrepreneurial businesses in the UK.
The accolade comes from the 2024 UK Fast Growth Index which analyses data from thousands of businesses to handpick those experiencing significant growth.

Industry judges placed Specscart in the North of England Fast Growth 50 list.
Specscart founder and managing director Sid Sethi said: “I know from our UK and worldwide online orders, staff headcount and footfall in our shops that Specscart is growing rapidly so this award is fantastic recognition of that.
“Our growth is huge, but our plans are even bigger – with US expansion, a late-night production lab and an industry-leading new website on the cards over the next 12 months – so watch this space.”

Specscart’s specific ranking within the list will be revealed at the UK Fast Growth Awards on November 28th at the Bloomsbury Big Top in London.
The UK Fast Growth Awards ceremony is a night of celebration, recognising businesses from across seven regions namely London, the Midlands and the East of England, the North of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, the South of England and Wales.
