Bury businesses are set to benefit from a new event aimed at innovation and growth.
The 'Innovation Marketplace,' hosted by GM Business Growth Hub's Innovation team, will take place on December 3.
The event is designed to provide business owners, entrepreneurs, and innovators with the resources they need to develop and enhance their products, services, or processes.
The Innovation Marketplace will offer networking opportunities, funding discoveries, expert consultations, and workshops.
These workshops include 'AI for Beginners' and 'Eco-FORCE,' aimed at helping businesses understand the potential of artificial intelligence and sustainability.
Attendees will also have the chance to listen to 'Lightning Talks,' where successful local businesses will share their experiences and insights.
The event is open to all businesses, whether they are start-ups, SMEs, or established companies.
Mike Naughton, local innovation connector for Bury, said: "Whether you can join us for the whole morning or just 30 minutes, the Innovation Marketplace will help you make a meaningful positive difference to the way you do business.
"Bringing Greater Manchester’s innovation eco-system together for a morning will help us bring about positive change for Bury and the wider city region."
The event, developed in collaboration with GM Innovation Ecosystem partners, will connect businesses with regional resources.
Yvonne Grady, head of innovation at the GM Business Growth Hub, said: "Whether you’re just starting your innovation journey or looking to scale, joining us at the Innovation Marketplace will equip you with the tools, insights and connections to drive success in your products, services or processes.
"The Innovation team has had an incredible 2024, with the launch of our Innovation Navigator programme and working with hundreds of businesses to enhance innovation, boost productivity and help our region’s businesses to grow.
"The Innovation Marketplace will help us round out the year with a bang."
Representatives from local authorities, universities, and legal and financial experts will be present at the event.
They will be available to assist in bringing new ideas to life or advancing existing projects.
The Innovation Marketplace events will also provide space for attendees to network with other business owners who are on the same path.
Interested parties can register for the Innovation Marketplace Event, happening from 9am to 1pm at a venue in Bury, on Eventbrite.
Further details about the event can be found on the GM Business Growth Hub's website.
