Bury's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid on the National Highways network this week.
Three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M66, from 9pm November 23 to 5am November 26, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 southbound, junction 2 to junction 3 due to a carriageway closure for barriers.
A further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M60, from 9pm November 25 to 5am November 26, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 anti-clockwise junction 19 to junction 18 due to a carriageway closure for communications.
• M66, from 9pm November 26 to 5am November 28, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 southbound, junction 3 to junction 4 due to a carriageway closure for barriers.
• M60, from 9pm November 27 to 5am November 29, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 16 to junction 18 due to a lane closure for barriers.
• M66, from 9pm November 27 to 5am November 30, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 northbound, junction 3 to junction 2 due to a lane closure for barriers.
• M66, from 9pm November 30 to 5am December 1, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 both directions junction 0 to junction 1 due to a lane closure for barriers.
• M66, from 9pm December 4 to 5am December 5, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 both directions junction 4 to junction 3 due to a lane closure for barriers.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
