A family-friendly food and drink festival will be returning for its fourth year.
The Heaton Park Food and Drink Festival has revealed that it will be back on Satuday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3 next year, featuring its “biggest line up to date” with live music, street food, chef demonstrations, circus shows, a petting zoo and more.
Taking place in the park near Prestwich, organisers have begun preparations following a “record-breaking “number of attendees last year.
The weekend-long event will showcase independent businesses and homegrown talent alongside celebrity chefs, with the full line up yet to be shared.

Festival director Michael Johnston said: “We were blown away with the support we received in 2024, making it our busiest event on record.
“The atmosphere was buzzing, and the Oasis tribute brought an incredible energy.
"In 2025, we’re implementing brand-new entertainment, activities, and production to create another memorable year."
Last year, the event saw more than 120 different independent businesses and borough traders represented.

With more details yet to be disclosed about the upcoming festival, organisers have hinted at some of the attractions set to debut with the cryptic announcement of a “Foodie Olympics”.
There will be plenty of entertainment with performing arts, circus shows, free children's activities, a mobile petting zoo, a fun fair, and interactive magic shows for people of all ages to enjoy.
The live music stage will feature two tribute acts, along with bands, soloists, duos, and choirs from the area.
A selection of Manchester’s culinary experts and celebrity chefs will be hosted in the live cookery theatre, with last year’s highlights including host and Great British Bake Off star Makbul Patel, MasterChef UK competitor Olayemi Adelekan and award-winning head chef Sean Noonan.
