Bury's motorists will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network in the next two weeks.
All of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
Six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M60, from 9pm tonight, Wednesday, November 20 to 5am on Friday, November 22, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 17 to junction 18 - M66 northbound, junction three for two lane closures and carriageway closures.
• M60, from 9pm on Friday, November 22 to 5am on Saturday, November 23, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M62 eastbound, junction 17 to junction 19 due to a carriageway closure for horticulture.
• M60, from 9pm on Saturday, November 23 to 5am on Sunday, November 24, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M62 westbound, junction 20 to junction 18 due to a carriageway closure for horticulture.
• M66, from 9pm on Saturday, November 23 to 5am on Tuesday, November 26, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes: M66 southbound, junction 2 to junction 3 due to a carriageway closure for permanent barriers.
• M60, from 8pm on Sunday, November 24 to 6am on Monday, November 25, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M60 clockwise junction 18 to junction 19 due to a carriageway closure for electrical works.
• M66, from 9pm on Wednesday, November 27 to 5am on Saturday, November 30, slight delays of under 10 minutes: M66 northbound, junction 3 to junction 2 due to a lane closure for permanent barriers.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
