A pizza restaurant will be opening in the borough next week - and there will be a special prize up for grabs for a lucky customer as part of the celebrations.
Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana have announced they will be opening the doors of their Prestwich restaurant on Saturday, November 30 with bookings now open on its website.
The venue will be at the site of the former Barclays Bank was on Bury New Road which has been unoccupied since August 2022.
This opening will be the brand’s 29th restaurant in the country and its eight in Greater Manchester.

From 12pm on November 30 customers will be able to enjoy Rudy’s iconic pizzas in its restaurants signature laid-back vibe.
To celebrate its arrival just in time for the festive season, the brand is hosting an exciting giveaway for the Prestwich community offering one lucky local winner the chance to win a sought-after Rudy’s "La Famiglia" card.
The card, of which there are less than 30 in existence, will grant its owner two free pizzas each week for a full year, and residents can be in with a chance of winning by signing up to the Rudy’s newsletter by the time the pizzeria opens on November 30.

Since launching in 2015 in Ancoats, Rudy’s quickly gained a cult following for its authentic Neapolitan dough and high-quality ingredients.
Rooted in a passion for the popular food, "Rudy’s stays true to the Neapolitan tradition, serving classic recipes like Marinara, Margherita, and Calabrese, all from Naples, the birthplace of pizza".

The new location will feature a well-stocked bar including classic stirred cocktails.
General manager of Rudy’s Prestwich and a proud Prestwich local, Beth Papalia, said: “After months of preparation, we’re so excited to finally open Rudy’s Prestwich on November 30.
