A Bury pub has been cordoned off following a police incident last night, Saturday.
The Swan Hotel on Tottington Road was closed overnight as police investigate.
The nature of the incident is unclear at the moment and Greater Manchester Police have been approached for information.
However, one neighbour said that they heard "people fighting outside" at around 11pm last night.
The pub shared a statement today saying that they will "remain closed until further notice" however have been advised that they may able to open later this evening.
Another eyewitness said that they saw forensic officers at the pub in the early hours of this morning.
Police tape remains around the car park and building this morning and officers were on the scene.
North West Ambulance Service have also been contacted for more information.
