A Bury musician will be performing on stage at a sports club later this month in aid of a cause close to his heart.
Danny Darlington will be hosting the special event at Holcombe Brook Sports Club on Friday, November 29.
All proceeds will be going to The Christie charity, in memory of his mum Sheelagh who died after having cancer.

The event was set up by Danny and his friend Kian Talbot and the pair have raised more than £800 so far.
Danny will be performing his original music and will be joined by another band, Mandatory Fun.
The event sold out in just two days, however, people can still donate to the fundraiser via the GoFundMe page at https://gofund.me/45fb6913

Danny said: “After selling out a gig in Manchester in October, I knew I wanted to do one closer to home.
“Holcombe Brook Sports Club felt like the perfect venue—it’s meaningful to my family and friends, as we hosted my mum’s wake there last year.
“She always spoke highly of the care she received at The Christie, and I wanted to honour her memory by supporting their amazing work while giving everyone a night to remember.”
