A car dealership in Bury which closed its doors suddenly last week has provided an update for its customers.
The Car Group on Derby Way has been temporarily closed since last Tuesday (November 5) with people flocking to social media to share their own experiences with the business.
Although the dealership has not given a date for reopening, a spokesperson has told the Bury Times that they are “working hard” to make sure that their existing customers are being supported in the meantime.

They said: “We are working through any queries and requests that come through. As a business, we are committed to resolving all customer issues where we can.”
The Car Group's website is currently showing a banner stating that the business is temporarily closed.
The company, which is an appointed representative of Ingeni Services Group Limited, was incorporated 10 years ago and is still listed as active on the government’s Companies House records.
Previous names include Car Sales and Finance Ltd, Car Sales Co Bury Ltd and Low Miles Car Sale Co Ltd.

In a statement last week, company director Mr Raza Habib denied speculation that the company had closed for good.
He said: “We are not going bust, I want to make that very clear. We have not gone into liquidation.
“We are making it our priority to get hold of customers who have cars with us and to make things right.”
