A Bury primary school has opened a service to support pupils with special education needs.
The specialist resourced provision service has been built at Chantlers Primary School in Elton and officially opened its doors last week (Friday, November 8).
It provides support for 12 pupils and features a fully furnished sensory room, a calming room, a bright communal learning space and a spacious outdoor play area.
The aim is to offer pupils access to the specialist teaching support and dedicated space they need while encouraging them to integrate with the school’s mainstream classrooms.
