Whitefield primary school children gave up their break and lunch times to raise money for Bury Hospice.
The kind-hearted children of St Michael's Primary School have recently donated £160 to Bury Hospice.
Rachel Krafft, community fundraiser at the hospice, came into the school to present some of the children with a cheque and offer her thanks.

She visited the whole school during their weekly celebration assembly where children are presented with awards and their achievements are celebrated.
The children have been selling Bury Hospice badges during break and lunch times to raise money for the hospice.

Headteacher Trish Grogan said: "We are so proud of the children who gave up their own time to sell badges to the rest of the school.
“We have talked to them about the vital work that Bury Hospice do for our community and how every penny counts when raising money for them."
St Michael's, on Ribble Drive, Whitefield, will be hosting a 'Reindeer Run' in December as a way of further raising funds for the hospice.
