A special event is set to take place at Bury Art Museum, celebrating the legacy of women's football.
The museum will screen the award-winning short film Granny as part of the "Going to the Match" exhibition.
The film celebrates the life of Lizzy Ashcroft, a star player of the early 20th century Dick Kerr Ladies football team.
The screening will take place on Wednesday November 13 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
The afternoon event will also feature a discussion with Sophia Sanderson, Laura Myles, and Alicia Dale, who will share their views on the legacy of women's football.
The discussion will cover the history of the sport, its current standing, and hopes for the future.
Sophia Sanderson, founder of Women of Colour and The Beautiful Game, is the coach and manager of "the first Women of Colour football team in Manchester to enter any league".
Laura Myles is the chairwoman and coach of the Manchester Vixens and WDCFC U14 girls.
Alicia Dale has been actively involved with Women of Colour and The Beautiful Game since May 2023 and currently plays in two grassroots teams.
The event is free, but a booking is required.
To reserve a spot, attendees are asked to call the gallery on 0161 253 5878.
