Trams between Bury and Crumpsall were running as normal this morning, Monday, despite a warning that was issued on Sunday night.

On Sunday, transport network, the Bee Network, said work on the Bury line would not be finished until around 10am on Monday "due to unforseen circumstances".

It also said there would also not be any bus replacement services in operation.

But on Monday morning, Transport for Greater Manchester said the delays to the works has "not been as severe as expected and trams will now run from start of service as usual".
