A group of Bury residents are set to light up a street again with an impressive festive display.
Neighbours from four flats on Brunswick Street have created an outdoor Christmas arrangement to “rival The Rock light switch on".
It began last year when Peter Day, 63, bought a giant 8ft inflatable snowman as a friendly effort to rival his neighbour's 2ft snowman decoration.
He said: “It all started out as a bit of fun. This time, I’ve gone even bigger and built a platform to put four reindeer on.

“We love seeing the kids' faces. Some of them were asking if ‘Santa’ is coming back again.
“I’ve had some unexpected time on my hands so I really wanted to knock it out of the park this time."
Residents from the sheltered flats near Woodfield’s Retail Park came together over the summer months to clear the rear gardens and add lighting to create a cosy community space for all to enjoy.
Peter, who moved to Bury from Blackley almost five years ago, was recently diagnosed with cancer and has been given six to nine months to live.
He is being cared for by The Christie and is using the Christmas display to raise funds for the Manchester charity.

“I picked up a ‘name the reindeer’ card for a fiver and I’m charging £1 per square. I’ll be donating £60 to The Christie and £40 will go to the winner.
“I’ve already had more than 40 people sign up so I might have to buy another few cards at this rate.
"I want to thank the wonderful team of [The Christie] department one for what they do - it is priceless."
Peter and his neighbours will be officially switching on the external display on Wednesday, November 13 and are encouraging people to come along to enjoy the lights.
The self-confessed Christmas fan added: “When it comes to Christmas decorations, how early is too early really? I’ve had them up indoors for weeks.”
