A shopping precinct has been hit by a reports of “thefts, criminal damage, bin fires and firework offences.”
So far, a youth has been arrested and several other people have been interviewed by police under caution after the series of reported incidents around Salford Shopping centre.
But officers say there is a “significant lack of reporting” in the area and have appealed for more people to come forward.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Over the last several weeks the Salford Central Neighbourhood Team have been investigating a number of anti-social behaviour related incidents on the Salford Precinct and the surrounding area.
“These incidents primarily relate to thefts, criminal damage, bin fires and firework offences.
“As a result of the investigation, a number of young people have been identified.
“To date, one young person has been arrested and a number of others have been interviewed under caution.
“These young people have now been referred to youth services for intervention work.

“The incidents have since significantly reduced.
“However, it is clear that there is a significant lack of reporting in the area.
“We are asking residents and the community to please report all incidents of ASB to GMP by either calling 101, utilising GMP Online Report.
“All reports can be made completely anonymously.”
