A fire involving a pile of tyres broke out this afternoon, Thursday.
The blaze happened on Higher Ainsworth Road just after 1.35pm.
A fire engine from Bury was sent to the area and the crew extinguished the flames.
Police were also in attendance.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “Shortly after 1.35pm today (Thursday, October 24), one fire engine from Bury Community Fire Station was called to attend a fire involving a pile of tyres on Higher Ainsworth Road, Radcliffe.
“Our crew arrived quickly and used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
"Firefighters worked alongside colleagues from Greater Manchester Police to make the area safe before departing after approximately one hour at the scene.”
