A man has been arrested on suspicion of committing a "series of sexual assaults" against female passengers on the Metrolink yesterday, Tuesday.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is "focusing on peak time morning travel on the Bury to Manchester Metrolink Service" as part of the investigation.
GMP is working with Metrolink and Transport for Greater Manchester on the case.

PC Matthew Cowin, of GMP's crime investigation team, said: “We are appealing for members of the public to report any incidents of unwanted sexual behaviour or sexual assaults on public transport.
"Our current investigation is focusing on peak time morning travel on the Bury to Manchester Metrolink service.
"If you have any information to assist our investigation or believe you may have been the victim of this crime please come forward by contacting us dialling 101, or reporting via our online reporting system."
