While Christmas might seem a while away, it always seems to come around very quickly especially if you’re not prepared.
So, if you’re wondering which local events you can go to this Christmas, look no further as Christmas by the Sea is returning to Blackpool in the coming weeks.
The event will allow visitors to not only enjoy the dazzle of the illuminations in Blackpool this December, but they can also join in with the festivities at Christmas by the Sea.
@louannn_x Christmas by the sea is back in Blackpool! Running until January, it features rides, an ice rink, a log cabin village that includes stalls, food and bars. It is located opposite the famous Blackpool tower. 💷💷 - Rides varied between £3 and £6. Like most of these events food is expensive, so if you are looking to save money, eat beforehand. 🍔🌭 - Lots of food options within the log cabin village including Yorkshire wraps, Greek, Curry, Burgers & loaded fries and more. They also have a variety of dessert stalls some of which were doughuts, crepes, marshmallow toasting and a huge sweet stall. It is a lovely evening out and we really enjoyed it but my number one tip! Wrap up warm because it’s getting cold out there guys 🥶☃️❄️ #christmas #christmastiktok #daysoutwithkids #daysoutuk #daysoutwiththefamily #blackpool #blackpooltower #thingstodo #kidsdaysout #kidsdaysoutuk ♬ last christmas - 🎸🪩
Christmas by the Sea returns to Blackpool this winter
The event is free to attend and you can find out more about it via the VisitBlackpool website.
There is plenty to do at the event including shopping in the Christmas Chalets at the Festival Headland.
You can also embrace the snow under the simulated snowfalls or glide on the free skating rink.
There will also be a snow slide and festive trams to ride on plus plenty of food and drinks to indulge in.
If you’ve still got Christmas shopping to do, you could even visit Houndshill and then check out some of Blackpool’s other attractions such as the Blackpool Tower or battle it out to see who is the best at wizarding golf at the Hole in Wand Blackpool.
