There will be no trams travelling between Bury and Crumpsall on Sunday due to works.

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has said services will not run between the stations on the day as work takes place on the Bury Metrolink line.

A bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops from 9am until the end of service.

And before 9am on the day, there will be no tram service across the full network due to additional works.

TfGM’s interim network director for Metrolink, Ian Davies, said: “These works are a vital part of ensuring the Metrolink network remains safe and reliable for the thousands of people who use it every day.

“We are doing everything we can to minimise disruption to passengers, including laying on replacement bus services.

"I would encourage our customers to plan their journeys, leave themselves plenty of time and keep an eye on the Bee Network website, app and social media channels for the latest information and advice.”
