A woman in her 30s has died from her injuries after being hit by a car in Bury earlier this month.
Flowers with messages reading “Fly high Amy” are attached to a lamppost on Manchester Road, next to where the incident happened on October 2, at around 9.30pm.
The Bury Times understands the woman was getting out of a taxi when she was struck by a Peugeot 108.
She was taken to hospital with "serious life-threatening" injuries where she later died.
The driver of the Peugeot, a woman in her 50s, stopped and was later arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care.
Greater Manchester Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage.
This includes dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell footage, from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
