A data specialist will be having an extra special birthday after winning the Made In Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw.

Will Atkinson, a business-to-business mobile and data communication specialist for The Sprint Group, scooped the prize with ticket number 22915.

He has held a ticket in the draw since June 2022.

The Sprint Group was formed to combine expertise into a "unified group to offer UK business a complete end to end solution for all their communication and technology needs".

It now serves business customers of all sizes across the UK and beyond and is still growing the products and services its offer.

Will was working in London when the draw team got in touch about his win and was "extremely surprised" to hear that he won.

He said his birthday was less than two weeks away and he would be spending his winnings on treating his wife, Nichola, to a weekend away somewhere nice.

The draw is a not-for-profit scheme with funds raised from the draw supporting start-up businesses in Bury with training and interest free loans.

There are 2,400 tickets available and for £2 per ticket per week, you have a chance to win £2,000 every Wednesday.
