Police are becoming "increasingly concerned" amid the search for a missing man who was last seen this morning, Saturday.
Martin, 47, was last seen on Stand Lane/Chapelfield in Radcliffe at 8am.
He is described as white with short brown hair and an unshaven face. He is 6'2 in height and of a medium build.
He was wearing jeans, a navy blue zipped jacket and glasses.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has confirmed that sightings of a helicopter being reported in the town this afternoon are in connection with Martin's disappearance.
Martin's surname has not been released by police.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned and want to make sure he is safe and well."
They are urging anyone with information about Martin’s whereabouts to call 101, quoting log 843 of 12/10/24.
