A takeaway has been ordered to pay £11,100 after being prosecuted for waste offences.
Ballers Kitchen UK Ltd on Walmersley Road in Bury has been fined for three breaches of duty of care committed in February and March.
At Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court last week, the company was fined £9,500 and must pay a victim surcharge of £2,000 and costs of £1,600.
Cllr Alan Quinn, cabinet member for the environment, climate change and operations, said: "There is no excuse for waste being dumped in our borough.
"It spoils our neighbourhoods and costs taxpayers money.
"We will continue to take action against offenders whenever we have evidence."
