Residents have been warned to be vigilant after a spate of burglaries.
In the last three days, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said they have received a number of reports of burglaries and vehicle interference in Ramsbottom.

Offenders have been trying car door handles in the early hours to steal valuables inside.
They have also been gaining access to outer buildings like garages and sheds.

A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesperson said: “Our neighbourhood crime team is currently at work trying to identify the offenders.
“The North Bury neighbourhood team will also be patrolling the hotspot areas to deter these offenders.

“Please ensure that all your vehicles, garages and houses are fully secured.
“If you are going out for the evening, consider leaving lights, radio and/or TV on at home.”
Police haved asked that if anyone sees anything suspicious to report it via 101 or the GMP website. In an emergency dial 999.
